Running Back: Chris Ivory

Chris Ivory has been having a sneaky awesome year at running back for the New York Jets. Like Brady, Ivory has missed a week of the season (Ivory’s missed week was due to injury), yet he still has 314 rushing yards–good for third in the league behind only Adrian Peterson and Matt Forte. Ivory is averaging 5.0 yards per carry, and while he hasn’t broken off any long runs (his season long is only 24 yards), Ivory has consistently gained yards on a snap-to-snap basis. Ivory is the only NFL running back to average at least 100 rushing yards per game; Ivory averages 104.7 yards in each contest, almost 10 yards per game more than the next-best running back. Ivory has scored three rushing touchdowns this season, tied for fifth in the NFL. He also hasn’t fumbled the football, which is always a huge bonus. Plus, his Jets are now 3-1, losing only the game that Ivory missed.

Runners-up: Adrian Peterson, Jamaal Charles
