The 4-0 Cincinnati Bengals will take on the 2-2 Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, but Seattle will be without its best weapon.

The Seahawks’ starting running back, Marshawn Lynch, will miss Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury that has hampered him throughout the season. Lynch has run for at least 1,200 yards in each of the last four seasons, scoring 48 rushing touchdowns throughout that span. He currently has 128 rushing yards through four weeks, despite only starting two games and seeing action in just three. Although Lynch is having a bad season, he’s a great player–his presence on the Seahawks’ starting lineup will be missed.
In addition to Lynch, the Seahawks may also be without Lynch’s fellow running back Fred Jackson, who is questionable with an ankle injury. In addition, several Seahawks defenders will miss Seattle’s trip to Cincinnati. You can check out the complete Seahawks injury report right here.
Injuries are never something to cheer for, but the Bengals are lucky to be facing Seattle without Marshawn Lynch. Thomas Rawls, an undrafted rookie, will likely start in Lynch’s place against a strong Bengals team that has a serious chance to contend in 2015.
