These Bengals receivers played such a vital role in moving the ball, especially on the final two drives of the game. Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones were clutch when they needed to be, and even A.J. Green made some plays against Richard Sherman when thrown to.
Green led the receivers with six catches for 78 yards, Mohamed Sanu hauled in five catches for 69 yards, and Marvin Jones wasn’t too far behind with 61 yards on five catches. Despite the fact that Green was a non-factor for a majority of this game, the unit performed well. Sanu and Jones have finally become the complimentary weapons that the Bengals had envisioned, and A.J. Green has been clutch, even catching a pass on Sherman on the game-tying drive in the fourth quarter.
