Around the NFL is a quick segment that will introduce interesting topics as well as talk about the top events within the past week. Events may include off the field issues, injuries, hypothetical questions etc.

Terrelle Pryor works out for the Giants’

Pryor has made a lot of noise this season. Ironically it hasn’t been on the field. The former Oakland Raider quarterback first signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as a back up quarterback. As AJ McCarron proved to be capable of the sole back up, the Bengals organization released Pryor. The former Ohio State Buckeye decided to put his quarterback dreams on hold and sign with the Cleveland Browns as a wide receiver. While there were many reports about Pryor being a natural catcher, the promising wide out was release due to a nagging injury.

Now five weeks into the season, Pryor has made noise again. It has been reported that the Giants have worked out Pryor as well as former Jet T.J Graham and A.J Jenkins. Due to the injuries of Odell Beckham Jr., Rueben Randle, and Victor Cruz, the Giants need help at wide out. While it is not a definite that Pryor will be signed,  many including myself would like to see him at least get a chance to play wide receiver.

Colts sign Ahmad Bradshaw

The former Giants’ and Colts’ running back Ahmad Bradshaw has signed another one year deal with the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts signed Frank Gore earlier in the offseason, but after a rough start to the season needed some more help. This help came in the form of a running back to relieve rank gore when he needs a spell. Bradshaw has always been a very solid back ever since his days in New York.

More from Stripe Hype

While Bradshaw was a free agent, it had less to do with his talent, but more with his injury history. The last time Bradshaw was in Indianapolis, he was by far the best productive back on the roster, but another foot injury lead to his release. Bradshaw also broke his foot prior to coming to the Colts. However, it seems as though he is finally healthy. Lets see what he can do.

Josh Gordon Eyes 2016 Return

Josh Gordon? Remember him? The Cleveland Browns wide receiver that hasn’t really played in about two years? Yes, Josh Gordon is trying to get back to the league. Last time we heard, Gordon was suspended for the whole season for violating league drug policies. That came right after Gordon was suspended 10 games for the same thing in 2014.

Prior to 2014, Gordon may have been one of the best wide receivers in the game, if not the best. In 2013, Gordon caught 87 balls for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns. Then after being suspended for 10 games, in the first game back, Gordon went for 120 yards on 8 catches against Atlanta. On the field Gordon is one of the lone bright stars in Cleveland and the Browns’ can’t wait for him to come back. By the looks of the video going viral,  Gordon can’t wait either.

Nate Solder Out for the Season

Left tackle for the New England Patriots Nate Solder, is out for the season. Solder has a torn bicep, which is just about impossible to play with. While the Patriots tend to have a “next man up” approach. This may not be very easy to go on to the next guy. Solder has been protecting Brady’s blind side for a while and Brady is very rarely under pressure.

Although in the game against Dallas Brady was sacked time and time again. A lot of pressure came from the left side as well, due to Greg Hardy‘s return. Hopefully, the Patriots can survive the lost. If they can’t its going to be a very long year for the great Tom Brady.
