Jeremy Hill Sophomore Slump?

Jeremy Hill has not been playing like the Hill we all seen last season as a rookie. Could this be because of a sophomore slump? While Hill has five touchdowns on the season and is slated as the starter, he has been out touched and out rushed by teammate Giovani Bernard.

As a Bengals fan and as a fantasy owner, one has to think has Hill taken a step back. While the Bengals are undefeated, the success of Hill could only help the aim of a continuity of winning. This week against the Buffalo Bills, look for Hill to continue struggling while Bernard continues to impress.

Rams Relevant?

The St Louis Rams are surprisingly a very good team, yet there record year in and year out don’t represent it. The Rams have a top notched defense. a great running game with Todd Gurley and Tre Mason and a capable passer in Nick Foles. Yet they can’t win games, why?

The Rams would become relevant if they had a true No.1 target. Tavon Austin is a very good  player, but he can’t take over game like a Julio Jones, AJ Green or a Dez Bryant can. Is it safe to say with a player of that magnitude the Rams could possibly be an annual player in the playoffs? With wins over Seattle and the Cardinals, the Rams make a strong case for that statement to be true.

Oakland Raiders on the Rise?

Derek Carr, Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper are the future. Oakland is a 2-3 football team, that could easily be 4-1 (if not for close loses to Denver and Chicag0). The Raiders look like they are on the rise. If anything is for sure, this not the same Raiders team from the last decade.

Jack del Rio has turned this franchise around and much like the Rams, it won’t be long until the Raiders are back to relevancy. The young nucleus mixed with the veteran leadership of the great Charles Woodson and the possession receiver Michael Crabtree are someone to keep in mind throughout the season.
