Andy Dalton vs. Bills Defense

Matching up the Bengals offense against the Bills defense leaves several exciting matchups. A.J. Green, Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu will be taking on one of the NFL’s stingiest cornerback duos in Stephon Gilmore and Ronald Darby; Tyler Eifert could once again prove to be a mismatch against Buffalo’s linebackers and safeties (one of whom is ex-Bengal, Manny Lawson) and Cincinnati’s running backs could have a difficult day against Buffalo’s loaded defensive line.

But the most interesting matchup of the day will be watching Andy Dalton attempt to pick apart one of the NFL’s top defenses for the second week in a row. At this point of the season, he’s playing so well that people who pick against Cincinnati just cite the fact that they think Dalton’s in for a bad game–Dalton has done everything right this season. And although the Red Rifle ended up picking apart a stingy Seahawks secondary, repeatedly targeting Kam Chancellor, many people still don’t believe that Dalton is an above-average quarterback. News flash: He’s a top-10 quarterback, and the Bengals could contend for the Super Bowl just because of Dalton’s impact for this team.

It will be interesting to see whether Dalton can his continue his success in Buffalo; the Bills are feisty when they play at home, and the Bills defense has performed very well against quality teams in 2015.
