The Bengals travel east this weekend to face the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium where there is a slight chance for snow. After a heart pounding come back last week the Bengals will look to go to 6-0 headed into the bye. With one of the healthiest, most talented rosters, the Bengals face a Buffalo team that will be looking for blood and possibly a potential wildcard spot in January.
The Bills are a team that has a good roster, their two loses have come from the Patriots and the Giants. Before last week they were one of the most penalized teams in football but cleaned things up after head coach Rex Ryan instituted some interesting tactics at practice. This is one of those games that the “old Bengals” would lose in heartbreaking fashion, and that is why some fans are still anxious about when the other shoe is going to drop.
Bottom line the Bengals will lose games this year, we know that, but understand that this is still a very good, healthy, talented football team. Right now is a special time with a special roster for the Bengals, and they are playing with confidence and swagger, that they can back up. In week 6 the deciding factor will be each teams ability to move the ball and I don’t see the Bills offense moving the ball consistently against the Bengals.
1. Bengals defense limits Buffalo to 250 total yards
2. Buffalo running back Dan “Boom” Herron runs for 80 yards and a touchdown.
3. Mo Sanu leads the team in receiving
4. Marcell Dareus has 2 sacks of Andy Dalton
5. Adam Jones takes one to the house
Final Prediction: Bengals 27 Bills 17
