Week 8 is in the books, and the NFL is getting more and more interesting. Many top teams are coming off byes, and the bad teams aren’t playing well. Despite this, a few teams who were originally thought of as bad are now righting ship and are back in the hunt. If you missed our weekly Power Rankings, check them out right here. With so many intriguing matchups, let’s get right into our Week 9 game-by-game predictions.

Last Week’s Record: 11-3

Season Record: 80-39

Teams with byes: Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks

With that, let’s get into my first prediction: Thursday night’s matchup between the struggling Cleveland Browns and the 7-0 Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati. This is an eerily similar game to the 2014 Week 10 matchup in which the Browns trounced the Bengals on Thursday Night Football, in Paul Brown Stadium, 24-3. Even spookier: Last year’s game took place on November 6; this year’s matchup takes place on November 5. Will this be a trap game?

Cleveland Browns (2-6) at Cincinnati Bengals (7-0)

Thursday 11/5 at 8:25PM EST

The Battle of Ohio could be an exciting matchup, but the Bengals are the clear-cut favorites in this one. Cincinnati could finally try to put the ball in Jeremy Hill‘s hands and see what he’s capable of doing. If he can consistently move the chains, the Bengals’ offense could gain an entirely new dimension that makes Cincinnati even more lethal.

13. 53. 27. 56. Final
