Playoff Seeding Predictions: The NFC has some interesting match ups coming up that will be key deciding factors to who’s in and who’s not. There are also some big times divisional games to find out who wins the NFC East and the NFC North. I don’t see anyone knocking the Panthers out of the top spot as they face only one team with a winning record the rest of the way. The Cardinals have one of the toughest opponent schedules moving forward but play the some of their biggest match ups at home. The Giants have a big divisional game coming with the Redskins in two weeks and face potential playoff teams the rest of the way. I see them finishing the season 3-3 and winning the division at 8-8.

This Sunday is big in the NFC North, with the first of two games featuring the Packers and Vikings. The second game between the two will come in week 17. The Packers are current owners of a three game losing streak and their roster just doesn’t look built for a mid to late season push. With that said, I can’t see them losing to the Lions, Bears, or Vikings at home, so it looks like a wildcard and 9-7 for the Pack.  The Falcons fortunately built up some wins and have a two game lead over the other wildcard hopefuls. I see them squeaking to 9-7 and holding off the Redskins, Bucs, and Rams.

Final Seeding Predictions:

  1. Carolina Panthers  NFC South Champs
  2. Arizona Cardinals  NFC West Champs
  3. Minnesota Vikings NFC North Champs
  4. New York Giants    NFC East Champs
  5. Green Bay Packes  Wildcard
  6. Atlanta Falcons      Wildcard
