Here’s a first glance at Stripe Hype’s first mock draft of the 2016 offseason.

While it’s hard to tell whether the Cincinnati Bengals will have any significant needs entering the 2016 NFL Draft (15 players are set to hit free agency), it’s safe to say that the Bengals will be re-upping their roster to keep themselves in contention for years to come. Andy Dalton is hitting his prime, so this team’s Super Bowl window will still be open for years to come. In this season’s draft, the Bengals’ strategy is going to be re-building the depth they could potentially lose with an aging secondary and pending free agents.

Whether the Bengals will address a position of need or fill their roster with the best player available (i.e. Tyler EifertJeremy Hill) has yet to be determined, especially given the team’s long list of pending free agents. But one thing’s for certain: Duke Tobin, Marvin Lewis and the personnel department are going to find some guys who can play. The group snagged Geno Atkins in the fourth round, as well as A.J. McCarron in the fifth round of various drafts–so whether Cincinnati selects a player high or low, it’s pretty safe to assume that at least a couple of the Bengals’ selections could turn into longtime impact players for Cincinnati.

Without further ado, let’s get into the mock draft. Keep in mind that in this mock, players will be picked based off of team needs because of the limited knowledge in regards to which players will be available when Cincinnati is on the clock.
