The Cincinnati Bengals will have at least seven picks in the 2016 NFL Draft. They might need all seven picks after free agency is said and done.

The Bengals have had the luxury and capability to draft some of the best players on the board to allow them to develop and grow for a year or two. This year feels a little different but doesn’t mean that they will have to fully abandon their strategy of the best guy on the board.

However, the Bengals have 15 unrestricted free agents, who are set to hit the market if a deal is not done before March 15th. It means that they will have plenty of needs for now and depth with the almost certain departure of Eric Winston, Wallace Gilberry, and a few other players. The biggest question of who will stay and who will go will be answered once free agency starts but until then there is only speculation.

So, who should the Bengals draft, based on all of the rumors and information? Well according to the recent mock draft here on Stripe Hype, Shaq Lawson out of Clemson should be the target in the first round, and it is where we will start.
