The Cincinnati Bengals have a lot of free agents in this 2016 offseason. The majority of these players have been an important part of the success Cincinnati has had the past few seasons.

Player: Marvin Jones

2015 Salary: $700,700

Free Agent Position Ranking: 2

Cincinnati has a hard choice to make as soon as free agency starts. Marvin Jones could very well be the best WR available when free agency opens up on March 9th. Currently, Jones is ranked second behind Bears’ Alshon Jeffery, however, the Bears have no stability at the WR position. With the uncertainty in Kevin White and not much to gloat about behind him, there is a very good chance Jeffery returns to the Bears. This would then leave Jones as the best option.

Cincinnati has already expressed their want to bring back all of their free agents, especially Jones. However, he has already stated that he will not give the Bengals a hometown discount. Cincinnati will have to pay him what he is worth, but Jones obviously knows if he goes on the open market he will certainly be overpaid. Regardless of the business aspect of things, Jones is a hot commodity and will have his choice to pick where he wants to go.
