2016 NFL Mock Draft: Who Do the Cincinnati Bengals get?
By Dylan Testin
Baltimore Ravens:
Deforest Buckner, Defensive End, Oregon
The Ravens are pretty bland when it comes to draft day, as they usually stick to their board and pick the best player available that fits their system. It has paid off almost every year, and will pay off again this year with Buckner. At 6’7″ 290 lbs. Buckner has the tools to be an elite pass rusher, and fitting him in with the likes of Terrell Suggs and C.J. Mosley would be a step in the right direction for an aging defense.
Alternate picks: Laquon Treadwell, Shaq Lawson, Laquon Treadwell

San Francisco 49ers:
Laquon Treadwell, Wide Recevier, Ole Miss
It is hard to imagine Chip Kelly won’t roll with Colin Kaepernick. With that being said, he will need to find a weapon for Kaep. Anquan Boldin is going to be a free agent, so Treadwell is a good fit here. He offers the ability to spread the field, and would be an ideal pairing with speedster Torrey Smith. Vamping up the defense is also a possibility, or even grabbing someone to protect Kaep.
Alternate picks: Carson Wentz, Vernon Hargreaves III, Deforest Buckner
Miami Dolphins:
Myles Jack, Linebacker, UCLA
There is a lot of work to be done to this Miami team on both sides of the ball. This is where they take the best player available and Jack is one of the best players in the draft. A knee injury ended his 2015 season before it started; Jack actually played both linebacker and running back showing he has the speed and agility to defend the offenses in the NFL. He will make an impact from the moment he touches the field.
Alternate picks: Jaylon Smith, Jack Conklin, Noah Spence
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Vernon Hargreaves III, Cornerback, Florida
The Buccaneers have done a great job building an offense the past couple years, so now it is time for the defense to match. Hargreaves has the ability to be a shut down corner at the next level, although he is a little shorter than most teams will like. achieved All-SEC honors all three years he played at Florida due to his ability to not only be a cover corner, but with his nose for the ball and great tackling.
Alternate picks: Jaylon Smith, Eli Apple
New York Giants:
Shaq Lawson, Defensive End, Clemson
There are questions regarding Jason Pierre-Paul and Robert Ayers and whether or not one or both of them get resigned. JPP played pretty well last season considering he played with only one and a half hands, and Ayers was ranked as the 8th best defensive end last season by Pro Football Focus. If they only bring one back, Lawson should be the guy to fill the other side. Otherwise, getting Eli Manning a decent running back for once could take some of the pressure off the offense.
Alternate picks: Noah Spence, Ezekiel Elliott, Kevin Dodd
