Detroit Lions:

Leonard Floyd, Linebacker, Georgia

The Lions are going to be going through a rebuilding stage the next couple seasons. They already have a quarterback, so go get the next most important position: a man who can get to the quarterback. Floyd is going to be a premier pass rusher in the league, and with Stephen Tulloch being released this past week they will be looking for a playmaker at the linebacker position.

Alternate picks: Jarran Reed, Andrew Billings, Noah Spence

Atlanta Falcons:

Kevin Dodd, Defensive End, Clemson

The pass rush in Atlanta was awful last season, and defensive minded coach Dan Quinn will love the help Dodd brings to the defense. Dodd has the quickness to beat guards if he plays inside and the strength to beat tackles if he plays outside. He has a motor that never quits running, lengthy arms, and will be a great defender in the NFL.

Alternate picks: Noah Spence, Robert Nkemdiche, Darron Lee

Indianapolis Colts:

Jack Conklin, Offensive Tackle, Michigan State

Conklin is a pick that Andrew Luck will definitely appreciate. After being severely beat up his first three seasons in the NFL, it is time for Indianapolis to protect their franchise quarterback. Defense could be an option here as well, but keeping Luck healthy has to be priority number one.

Alternate picks: Taylor Decker, Cody Whitehair, Ryan Kelly

Buffalo Bills:

Robert Nkemdiche, Defensive End, Ole Miss

A top-10 talent if he wouldn’t have the questions surrounding him about his off the field habits. The Bills are the perfect team for Nkemdiche and Rex Ryan will love to pair him up with the likes of Marcell Dareus. Getting Tyrod Taylor a weapon is a possibility here as well but they won’t reach for a receiver with a guy like Nkemdiche on the board.

Alternate picks: Josh Doctson, Reggie Ragland, Michael Thomas

New York Jets:

Paxton Lynch, Quarterback, Memphis

Lynch has all the tools to succeed in the league, but a question of the competition he has played throughout his career is what stops him from being a top 10 pick. The Jets saw that you need a quarterback to win down the stretch as Ryan Fitzpatrick did what any game manager does, which is nothing. With weapons surrounding him and a good offensive line, Lynch is a great fit in New York.

Alternate picks: Reggie Ragland, Mackensie Alexander, Ezekiel Elliott
