Cincinnati Bengals: Post Combine Mock Draft

After the 2016 NFL Combine numerous prospects showed athletic ability that game tape doesn’t always show. When you throw in measurable, speed, and field drills, players were able to show the potential they hold.
The Cincinnati Bengals need some players to not only contribute, but hopefully become future stars. If the Bengals lose some of their own players this free agency, this draft will be one of the biggest the Bengals have had in awhile.
1st round: Andrew Billings, DT. Baylor- The 2016 draft is full of talented defensive tackles, and luckily for the Bengals they can get a very talented player at one of their biggest needs. Billings is an extremely powerful defensive player who also has an impressive burst off of the line. He able to take one players one on one and tends to win them due to his rare blend of power and speed.
Billings is able to carry his opponent back into the pocket with ease. He brings a very good bull rushing game with active, strong hands, and gives full effort all the time with sure tackling. He can also split double teams due to pad level and strength.
His biggest concern is that he is top heavy and sometimes struggles to change direction. Also his size is a question mark, but he is overly powerful for someone his size. Billings would benefit greatly being besides Atkins as he would face more one on ones. The crazy part is Billings is still learning pass rush moves and he’s being dominant already. Billings has a high ceiling.
