5. Kansas City Chiefs

This offseason, the Chiefs biggest need is offensive line. Remember, it was only a couple of years ago that they selected Eric Fisher to block for Alex Smith. However, Fishers career has been very up and down so far. Regardless, Fisher is penciled in at the starting left tackle position. The right tackle on the other hand, is wide open.

The Chiefs season was very close to amazing. After starting the season with a losing record and losing Jamaal Charles, the Chiefs rebounded and went on an 11 game winning streak. With Charles coming back, Kansas City will be looking to run the ball again. If this is the case, the offensive line needs to be fixed in order to keep Charles healthy. One more time, let’s insert Andre Smith. A bulldozing, run blocking right tackle is exactly what Kansas City needs. Smith could even help Fisher with his career in the process.

There is an almost certainty that Andre Smith will not be in Cincinnati next year, but there is a good chance he goes to one of these five teams, even with the signings already made by each team. Each team all have needs at offensive tackle and Andre Smith could be an instant upgrade the position.
