Last, I have practically cancelled out the chance of the Browns winning the division, but don’t underestimate them in the division. They will be a constant thorn in the side of the rest of the AFC North. Hue Jackson has a plan and a Baylor connection between RGIII, Corey Coleman, and possibly Josh Gordon, pending a reinstatement hearing that could come in August, which could be difficult to keep up with.
Their defense has been the biggest thorn in the AFC North’s side more than anything else. Joe Haden is expected to play this season, baring injury, Paul Kruger, who is seasoned in everything AFC North, and Danny Shelton, who the Browns drafted last year and expects to make strides in year two.
The Browns are a long way from making the playoffs, but the players already believe in Hue Jackson’s plan. If they give him the time and energy he deserves, the Browns won’t be very far away from the other three teams.
The AFC North is the best division in football. Ill call it now, it will have three teams in the playoffs this season. The Bengals have the best chance to repeat as the divisional crown, but we will see soon enough.
