The Cincinnati Bengals have lost and signed a few free agents, drafted a top class of players, and now will head into OTA’s and mini-camp with high expectations.

In 2015, the Bengals finished at the top of the AFC North, third in the AFC, and put themselves out with a true wildcard performance. However, in 2016, they have lost players a few key player, gained a few  key players, and drafted a solid rookie class, so could that help change their future?

The Bengals face organized team activities (OTA’s), mini-camps, rookie camps, and training camp before the pre-season and then the regular season get under way. This leaves a lot of time for old injuries to heal, new injuries to appear, new faces to adjust to the speed, and veteran players to prepare for what should be the most competitive division in the NFL. There could be one or two more free agents brought in to compete, especially if the Bengals feel they need to bridge any time between now and when rookies are ready.

There is still so much time to guess what will happen with players, coaches, and teams to adjust to the upcoming season. The Bengals are no exception. What happens over the next four months could both help and hurt the Bengals. Here are five bold predictions that could push the Bengals over the top or hurt the Bengals chances in 2016.
