Bengals Have a Wide Receiver Battle On Their Hands

Jake Kumerow
Last but not least, there is Jake Kumerow. A quick history lesson on Kumerow.
His dad, Eric, was a first round pick by the Miami Dolphins in 1988. A year before that in 1987, Kumerow’s uncle, John Bosa, was a first round pick by the Dolphins as well. His cousin, Joey Bosa, the All American from Ohio State, that is now in a Chargers Uniform, well, is as talented as any player in this years draft, did I mention their cousins.
Kumerow comes from a football family and while he may not be seen as being as talented as others in his family. He still has NFL caliber talent himself. Kumerow played at Wisconsin-Whitewater where he put up serious production, which is why he is part of this Bengals team to being with.
However, no one knows how Kumerow will play. However, one thing that can hold true to undrafted free agents is you just don’t know what they’ll be when given the opportunity, and that continues to hold true with Kumerow. He could rise to the top and beat out everyone or he could end up on the practice squad. The uncertainty is why he is on this list.
The wide receiver battle has many participants, but we’ll see who will com out on top. One thing will certainly hold true, it will be fun to watch which receiver rises above the rest.
