3 Cincinnati Bengals under the microscope this year

Is The Ginger Ready?
This will be the biggest test of Dalton’s career. He’s suffered his first losing campaign with the Bengals, he’s in his sophomore year with Zampese and…it’s just time. Dalton has been putting up decent stats for years. The idiotic rumors about arm strength need to be put to rest. When Jackson was calling the offensive shots, he had confidence in Dalton going deep. Last year, Pro Football Focus praised Andy for his precision on deep routes.
What has to change? The new year has to be all about prime time focus, making better decisions and leadership. There’s no need to spew out tons of data about how good Dalton is or can be. He’s better than over half the QB’s in the NFL. In 2017, he has to prove that big games don’t faze him. He’s been there before. Now. it’s time to own the failures and turn them into more than one-and-done mediocrity.
"“There were some positives to be taken away in the way he produced, certainly.” Zampese told Bengals.com. “But, we didn’t win. Quarterbacks are here to win and we didn’t win enough. There are some different things that went well for him and for us in the passing game and you appreciate those things, but we need more.”"
Simple. This has to be the year. Fans are tired of waiting.
