With training camps around the corner, optimism is at an all-time high. The Bengals are no different. Here’s why you should be excited.

Training camp season is right around the corner and with the start of camp also comes unbridled optimism.  Count just how many times you hear that a veteran “is in the best shape of his career” or that a rookie “looks like a seasoned veteran”.  The Bengals are no different.  I would recommend taking anything heard from training camps with a grain of salt, but a spoonful seems more adequate.

Regardless, in the spirit of this uninhibited hopefulness, I will delve into the reasons that Bengals fans have to be optimistic about the upcoming season.  Just have the Morton’s close by.
