Following the 2018 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals have given numbers to most of their rookie class.

The Cincinnati Bengals have given jersey numbers to most of their rookie class according to the Bengals official website. First-round pick Ohio State center Billy Price will wear the number 53. The last Bengal to wear that uniform was linebacker Marquis Flowers. Flowers was traded to the New England Patriots before last season.

Second round pick Wake Forest safety Jessie Bates has been assigned number 30. Probably the best player to wear that number in a Bengals uniform would be running back Icky Woods. While a short career due to injuries, Woods grew a fan base scoring 15 touchdowns his rookie season and averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

Third round pick Ohio State defensive end Sam Hubbard has been given number 94. The most recent player to wear number 94 would be defensive tackle Domata Peko. Hubbard is one of the biggest steals in this years draft class as he was projected in the first couple of rounds. He will bring not only pass rush but some solid run stopping abilities to this team.

Third round pick Texas linebacker Malik Jefferson will wear the number 45. The best player to wear that number for the Bengals would arguably be running back Archie Griffin from 1976-1982. Running for 2,808 yards in his seven years with Cincinnati and catching 1,607 yards to add to it. Griffin is also the only college player to win two Heisman trophies.

Fourth-round pick Miami running back Mark Walton has yet to be given a jersey number. Fifth-round pick Illinois State cornerback Davontae Harris will wear number 35 which hasn’t been worn since 2007 by Quincy Wilson. Defensive tackle Andrew Brown will wear number 93 which was worn by defensive end Michael Johnson before he switched to number 90. Cornerback Darius Phillips will wear 38.
