George Iloka comes in as the Bengals’ highest paid safety, unsurprisingly. After emerging as the starter in 2012, Iloka solidified himself as an upper-echelon safety. He’s performed very well in PFF since he became the starter – last year’s 45th rank was among the worst of his career. Iloka has also been an excellent veteran presence for the Bengals’ young cornerbacks. He signed a 5-year, $30 million contract after the 2015 season, leaving three years remaining on his deal. Iloka’s current $6.2 million figure is a great value for one of the most reliable safeties in the NFL. The Bengals have to be thrilled to have Iloka under contract until 2021.
