It’s about time to recognize the Bengals players who have been standouts during training camp so far – both Positive and negative.

Now that training camp has been going on for a while, the real standouts of training camp have started to emerge. For the Bengals there are definitely some clear risers in 2018. Whether it’s a new coaching staff, a strong offseason trading regiment, or just the right mindset, there are a few guys who have separated themselves from the team. Now that preseason games are almost here, it’s time to recognize the players who have stood out in Bengals training camp – in a good or bad way.

Before we get into the list, it’s important to recognize the wide receivers as a whole. We’ve discussed the position at length already, but they bear mentioning in this column for how good they’ve looked. AJ Green continues to excel, but his counterparts are looking strong as well.

Tyler Boyd and John Ross have started to show they could start for the Bengals, although they need to prove themselves in the preseason. Josh Malone, unfortunately, has been out of camp with a hamstring injury, but looked really strong in the early part of camp. Alex Erickson and Auden Tate are also intriguing spot players, especially if they can contribute for the Bengals on special teams.

Because of how strong each one of the receivers has been during camp, the position has definitely been the standout of camp. Let’s take a look at who else has been noteworthy for the Bengals.
