Stud: Andy Dalton

Entering his eight season with the Bengals, Dalton needs to have a big season this year to keep his job security. So far, the early results are good. Dalton seems as relaxed as he’s ever been, which is a vibe that has rubbed off on the rest of the team. If he can keep the Bengals calm and focused heading into the 2018 season, Dalton might just keep the pressure of the playoffs off the team’s shoulders and get that elusive win.

As far as on the field performance, Dalton has looked sharp, too. Offensive coordinator Bill Lazor’s system was always going to be a good fit for Dalton, and it seems to be working so far. On short and intermediate routes, he has been throwing with good velocity and accuracy. Dalton has also been working on his deep ball for the second straight season. He completed a bomb to Green in the mock game, as well as hitting Boyd on a tough fade in practice. Dalton might finally return to his peak 2015 form.
