Cedric Ogbuehi

Ogbuehi is the most interesting case of the five likely cuts here. He isn’t a late-round rookie flier, and he isn’t a potential cap casualty. If he weren’t on his rookie contract, the Bengals would have cut him long ago. However, with his theoretical upside and small, guaranteed contract, Ogbuehi has stuck around on this roster.

Entering his fourth season, Ogbuehi still looks nightmarish in protection. He has simply never developed into the starting tackle the Bengals thought he could be when they drafted him. Although the team would have to eat almost $2 million in dead money, it might be worth it to get rid of him. Ogbuehi is just not one of the 53 best players on this roster, so he may have to go even if it’s not financially beneficial.
