Bold Prediction #2

Joe Mixon will lead the league in rushing. A second year back, coming off his rookie season where he rushed for 626 yards, will be the lead back going into the year. Mixon had some flashes in his rookie season, but wasn’t able to produce to the level some where expecting. He didn’t start the season getting regular reps so that’s one reason he wasn’t able to put up the numbers, but also the offensive line gave zero push and did not produce running lanes as the team finished 31st in rushing yards.

Mixon will be fed the ball at a higher rate this year and that can only lead to his numbers improving, not to mention how the offensive line will improve in run blocking this season will the addition to Cordy Glenn and Billy Price. Mixon was sought out to be a first round pick in last years draft and did fall to the Bengals for widely know off the field issues.

Expect Mixon to be carrying the rock 20 plus time a game and with an improve passing offense, there will be more lanes for Mixon is going to have performances will not only put Bengals fan on watch, but the whole league will be talking about Mixon as one of the best backs in the league.
