50. Cody Core, WR

Core was a surprise addition to this roster as the 7th wide receiver. Core has a great combination of size and speed, which makes him a great asset on special teams. However, Core has done very little as a wide receiver to this point in his career. Because of his injury, don’t be surprised if Core is inactive for several games this year.

49. Tony McRae, CB

McRae was another unexpected addition to this final roster, but he may not be secure. The Bengals have made it very clear that they need to add depth in the secondary. McRae at least has some veteran experience over Darius Phillips, but he likely won’t see the field much.

48. Malik Jefferson, LB

Jefferson is a tough player to rank. His athletic upside is clear, and he started to put it together in his Week 4 preseason performance. However, Jefferson lacks field awareness and technique right now. With many veteran presences at the linebacker position, expect Jefferson to sit for most regular season games. His future upside, though, is immense.

47. Bobby Hart, OT

Hart, somehow, could be a starter on this team. I expect him to be Jake Fisher’s backup, though, which would be a better role for him. Like with Ogbuehi, the Bengals would probably prefer more reliable options at tackle, but Hart will have to do.

46. Brandon Wilson, S

Wilson is a player I’ve been high on for a while, and I’m glad to see him make the final roster. Although I like what he brings, he’s still a little raw to get major reps at safety. Expect Wilson to primarily contribute on special teams while he hones his technique at safety.
