With the Seventy-Second Pick, in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals Select: Cameron Smith, Linebacker, USC

It is no secret that Cincy lacked playmakers in the second half of their front seven. Smith offers tremendous size, standing at 6’2 and weighing around 250 pounds, he is the prototypical inside thumper for a cold weather division. Smith flew a bit under the radar this season, playing for a USC program that has failed to regain its former glory. There are concerns about his third-down ability, but Smith should be able to come in and be a force in the run game on day one.
