Maybe I’m partial as a Kentucky alum, but C.J. Conrad definitely had his bright moments throughout his career at the University of Kentucky. In an offensive scheme that focused primarily on running the ball, C.J. had moments that may not have shown up on the stat sheet but were crucial to the flow of the offense as a whole. During his four year career in Lexington, he made appearances in 35 games, caught 80 passes for 1,015 yards and 12 touchdowns. Those numbers aren’t jaw-dropping by any means, but whenever a group of inexperienced quarterbacks needed a receiver to make a play, C.J. Conrad was that guy (see the ending of the Kentucky-Missouri game from 2018). If I had one word to describe C.J. Conrad, it would be this: Clutch.
