The Cincinnati Bengals will look to correct the errors of a disastrous 41-17 loss in their home opener against the San Francisco 49ers. Week 3 has them traveling to 2-0 Buffalo for a game where the Bengals are looking to get into the win column.
Week 3 has the 0-2 Cincinnati Bengals on the road against the 2-0 Buffalo Bills. The Bengals are coming off of an absolute debacle at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers, while the Bills have dominated the other New York teams, the Jets and the Giants.
For Buffalo, Week 3 is the home opener and they get a team in Cincinnati who is looking for a first win after a promising loss in Seattle and a 41-17 blowout loss at home.
The Bengals are looking to find whatever their wheelhouse might be. Fans in the Queen City look to have seen both the most promising and most distressing in back to back weeks, so Sunday against the Bills will go a long way in showing what this team may ultimately be in 2019.
So far, fans have seen a dynamic passing game from Andy Dalton. Conversely, they’ve also witnessed a running game that is non-existent. Both the offensive line and the defense have underwhelmed and harken back to what Cincinnati was in 2018. So far, the improvements hoped for both units this season hasn’t materialized.

A win on Sunday will help right the ship. Anything less will not, not even a close loss. The Bengals had their one “moral victory” in Week 1 where it looked like it was a new kind of football in Cincinnati. That promise looks to have evaporated last week at Paul Brown Stadium.
The Bengals have another opportunity to get it right in Week 3 at Buffalo.
