Week four brings two AFC North rivals together for a matchup on Monday Night Football. the 0-3 Pittsburgh Steelers host the 0-3 Cincinnati Bengals to see who climbs out of the division cellar first.

Perhaps one of the most interesting games on the NFL docket in Week 4 is the one featuring the 0-3 Cincinnati Bengals at the 0-3 Pittsburgh Steelers. That’s right sports fans. Monday Night Football featuring a pair of winless teams to cap off another week in the NFL.

Having mocked the bad luck of ESPN, I’ll repeat what I said at the beginning, that this is an interesting game. First, no one saw Pittsburgh without a win three games in or without Ben Roethlisberger. Additionally, after a strong showing to open the season against the Seahawks, Cincinnati looks to have taken a step back and is also without a win.

Hey, something has to give.

A quick review of Week 3 probably says a lot about these two AFC North cellar dwellers. First, the Bengals played a decent second half in Buffalo. It didn’t yield a win, but it showed a marked improvement versus the debacle against San Francisco.

As for the Steelers, they had a little better success at the 49ers, coming up short 24-20. Pittsburgh will get a second start from Mason Rudolph, who was 14 of 27, for 174 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Rudolph will have the benefit of a traditionally good home-field advantage and a second week preparing as a starter.

When the schedule first came out, the logic would have been to pencil in a loss for the Bengals. Not so fast. After stumbling around for three NFL weeks, this might be the game where Cincinnati finally gets that first win.

Then again, maybe not.
