Tua Tagovailoa is undeniably the top 2020 quarterback prospect and has the most hype surrounding him. With the way that the Bengals season is going, they may just have a shot at selecting him. He would instantly give the team a huge upside. His mobility will mask deficiencies in the offensive line and give the Cincinnati Bengals skill players time to show their athleticism downfield. Out of every prospect, he is the safest, will the highest ceiling.

He’s great at avoiding pressure, keeping the play alive, and making an accurate throw downfield. You can see his range of skills and play-making ability in the clip above from @CBSSports via twitter.

His play reminds me a lot of Russell Wilson. Wilson has been able to keep the Seahawks afloat despite a horrible offensive line most seasons and a less than ideal stable of receivers. Tagovailoa has that kind of skill set, which can be extremely valuable in today’s NFL. It would be especially useful for the Cincinnati Bengals who rarely use free agency and seemingly have players injured often. If he’s anything close to the kind of player Wilson is, he will turn the Bengals into contenders sooner rather than later.
