News broke recently that Bengals de-facto general manager Duke Tobin would be in attendance to watch Joe Burrow take on Utah State. This shows just how quickly Burrow has shot up draft boards to begin the season.

Just two years ago he was unable to win the starting job at Ohio State. Now? He’s transformed the LSU program and made them serious contenders in the always difficult SEC. With his knack for changing cultures, fiery leadership, accuracy, and sneaky athleticism he could be the absolute perfect selection for the Bengals.

Burrow will get the opportunity to further solidify himself this season too. He’ll face NFL caliber players when he matches up against teams like Alabama.

It’ll be interesting to see how far he can take LSU. The tigers have been a team that has had plenty of talent over the years but did nothing with it. A similar statement could be said about the Bengals. If LSU happens to put it all together with Burrow at the helm, it would be hard not to credit him with the success.

In the clip above from @PFF_College, you can see his deep throwing ability would make Cincinnati Bengals receivers A.J. Green and John Ross ecstatic. Don’t be surprised if the Cincinnati front office decides to snatch Burrow up from the Bayou and bring him back to his home state.
