Six quarterback prospects the Cincinnati Bengals could target in 2020
Jacob Eason is a guy who came into college with a ton of upside. He’ll enter the NFL the same way. He was a 5-star recruit and the top prospect in his class.
He seemingly has a bottomless well of talent. No matter how well he plays, it’s always easy to see the potential for him to reach another level. That kind of thing is exciting for a franchise. Bengals fans have seen Dalton’s ceiling but with Eason, you can almost expect him to come back better every season.
He reminds me a lot of Josh Allen with his arm strength and mobility. He’s got enough zip on the ball to squeeze it into tight windows, which would work great with Tyler Boyd‘s skill set. Don’t worry though, he can air it out deep to keep John Ross content as well. You can see in the clip above from @ReuseRecruiting that he has the guts to make the really difficult throws.
This can get him in trouble at times but if a coach can reign him in and help him decide when to take risks, they’d get a dangerous quarterback with tremendous talent. For the Cincinnati Bengals, it may be too hard to stomach the thought of passing on him and watching another franchise bring in his endless potential.
