Cincinnati Bengals: 3 bold predictions for Week 6 vs Ravens
By Steve Rivera
The Cincinnati Bengals have not been impressive on defense. In Week 6 and on the road in Baltimore, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson finds better success throwing the football than he showed last week against Pittsburgh.
But that’s not all. When the Bengals played Kyler Murray and the Cardinals. Cincinnati saw what can happen when you face something of a two-headed monster at the quarterback position. Jackson runs a lot, and as he softens up an already soft Bengals defense, he’ll quickly find success throwing the football.
More than a few teams will get better at what they are struggling with when they play the Bengals. In Week 6, Cincinnati again faces the tough workday of having to play a quarterback who can beat you beyond their passing game.
Jackson, like Murray a week ago, will remind Bengal fan that the position is evolving beyond the simple drop back type of passer. So long as the Ravens feature a quarterback who can be dangerous in a few different ways, beating them will be tough.
Jackson’s struggles a week ago won’t be the case this week. The AFC North leader will have some success against a Bengals defense that hasn’t had much through five weeks. Jackson won’t need to be great, when better is probably good enough.
