The Bengals get another crack at the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10. Any way you slice it, it’s a tall order for a team who has turned to a rookie quarterback looking for a spark. Meanwhile, The Ravens just got through beating perennial favorite New England 37-20 in a Sunday night game that has launched Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson into the NFL stratosphere.

Sunday in Cincinnati looks to be the next chapter for a Bengals team mired in all kinds of mess. The switch from Dalton to Finley is layered in the appearance of bad faith on behalf of the organization. Finley is now tasked with trying to lift a dormant franchise against a Ravens team ascending. Even with the potential of Green returning from an injured ankle, 0-9 looms as a real possibility.

November is just that way on the schedule. Getting Baltimore after what may have been a watershed kind of game for the Ravens makes sense in a lost season for the Bengals. For Cincinnati fans, it’s also a second look at a player they passed up in the 2017 NFL Draft. Jackson, who can now lay claim to a legitimate MVP kind of season, was bypassed for Ohio State offensive lineman Billy Price.
