Cincinnati Bengals: 7 Round 2020 Mock Draft
One of the most important positions for the Bengals to address is linebacker. The unit has been one of the worst in the league for several years now. With Preston Brown being cut, the linebacker room is going to get a youth movement.
Malik Harrison out of Ohio State would be a great fit in round three. He checks all the boxes for what the Bengals should want. He has tremendous size at 6’3″, 240 pounds coupled with freakish athletic traits. He can make the tackles he needs to in the box, but also get out and cover, the Bengals are desperate for this.
Cincinnati would add him to a linebacker stable that already has Germaine Pratt, who has great athleticism himself. Suddenly, the Bengals would find themselves on the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of age at the position. That would be a welcome site for the rest of Cincinnati’s defensive players who have struggled as a result of the weakness at the position.
If they can add one more solid player at the position in free agency, they could field a respectable linebacker trio for the first time in several seasons.
