Cincinnati Bengals: Win, loss predictions for the last five games in 2019

The 4-7 New York Jets, fresh off of a thrashing against the Oakland Raiders, roll into Paul Brown Stadium for a game against the 0-11 Cincinnati Bengals. The Jets won’t be an easy rollover for the return of Andy Dalton, but if there was a team Zac Taylor has to like his team in with the veteran back under center, it’s this game in Week 13.
The Jets aren’t half bad. As a matter of fact, with ease, they were able to steamroll the Raiders before Oakland knew what even hit them. Quarterback Sam Darnold is finding a nice groove in this three-game winning streak they are in the midst of. In Week 12, he threw for 315 yards, on 20 of 29 and had two touchdowns. Additionally, the Jets defense held Derek Carr to 15 of 27 for 127 yards, and one interception.
Is this one of those games where Dalton is a difference-maker? He hasn’t won a football game yet in 2019 either, but the bet is he gives Cincinnati a better chance than Finely would.
This has all the makings of a winning moment for a winless team. That said, from top to bottom, the Jets might be just a bit better and have the benefit of a three-game winning streak. However, this game is in Cincinnati, and with Dalton sure to get a hero’s welcome, Cincinnati finally gets a win.
