If there is one thing Andy Dalton is capable of doing, it’s getting the Cincinnati Bengals offense cranking and cranking early. That is if Zac Taylor can stay out of his own way.

Taylor as a play-caller has been an absolute dumpster fire. That said, making a switch back to Dalton may be a sign he’s taking a different approach with the last month of the season on deck. Also, the Cincinnati offense has shown flashes in 2019. While those flashes have been non-existent the past three weeks, expect a different and more aggressive play-calling in Week 13.

The Bengals will get out to a hot and fast start on Sunday. Expect to see Taylor let Dalton out of the gate early as the passing game serves as the key to a resurgent rushing attack. While the offense has sputtered of late, and mostly for the greater part of the season, that won’t be an issue this week.

The Jets defense will get some hits on Dalton, but not enough to make a difference. While they held a good Raiders offense with Derek Carr at quarterback in check, that same type of game never materializes in Cincinnati. Look for 400 passing yards and 3 touchdowns against New York, leaving fans to wonder where this type of production has been all season long.
