While college football’s best clash, Bengals fans will get a good look at prospects who could potentially be on their team in just a few months.

The college football playoff semi-finals will feature match-ups of Ohio State vs. Clemson and LSU vs. Oklahoma. The Bengals possess the number one overall pick, and with that, they’ll have an opportunity to take any one of the players from the best college football programs in the nation.

Starting with Chase Young, all eyes will be on him as he faces off against the extremely talented Clemson offensive tackles. It will be interesting to see if he continues to face double and triple teams or if Dabo Swinney will leave his bookends on an island against the disruptive pass rusher. The competition he faces will be the best he’s seen all season, which will give him a chance to further solidify himself as the best player in the draft class.

On the other hand, Joe Burrow will face off against a Oklahoma defense that has had a less than desirable campaign. Still, they’ve had plenty of time to prepare for the LSU signal caller and the pressure will be greater than ever. It will be a good indicator of how he handles high intensity situations and leads his team.

How each performs on Saturday may have a significant impact on the Bengals decision-making. Regardless of what happens, the Bengals will undoubtedly be paying close attention to the games for the plethora of draft-caliber prospects on display. With that, here is a 7-round mock draft featuring some of the players in action tonight.

For the sake of this article, I utilized The Draft Network’s mock draft machine to make these predictions as realistic as possible.
