The Bengals desperately need help in coverage from their linebackers. There may be no better option to help in that regard than Cory Littleton. Pro Football Focus had him as the best linebacker in coverage at the halfway point this season. In addition, he earned a great grade of 78.8 overall on the year. For comparisons sake, the Bengals highest graded linebacker this season only earned a grade of 54.4.

At just 26-years-old, Littleton isn’t just a quick fix but can be apart of the teams plans moving forward. Adding him to a group that contains a surging Germaine Pratt is a good start to fixing one of the team’s biggest weaknesses.

Zac Taylor could have an inside track to luring the former Washington Husky away from Los Angeles as well. After spending time on the Rams coaching staff, fans should hold out hope that he built a solid relationship with the outstanding linebacker.

Landing Littleton would take a lot of pressure off the front office by the time the draft rolls around. This years prospect pool is thin when it comes to linebackers and the team will need to focus on securing talent for other positions that offer more value.
