With the Cincinnati Bengals set to draft a quarterback with their first pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, fans will groan if the organization doesn’t use some of its draft capital to shore up a bad offensive line. With a team that just came off of a 2-14 campaign and a rookie quarterback on deck, his protection needs to be at the top of the to-do list.

Ben Bredeson will be one player Zac Taylor well get a look at during his time at the Senior Bowl. Bredeson, a senior from Michigan, is another that the Bengals coaching staff could take a liking to. He’s 6-foot-5 and weighs in at 325 lbs, and saw a lot of playing time in Ann Arbor.

One thing fans will note about Bredeson, is that he isn’t going to jump out at you because of his athleticism. He’s a “steady as he goes” kind of player who can hold his blocks and is good in protection.

What’s good about the former Wolverine is his toughness. He’s a bully, a mauler, and won’t be intimidated as a rookie by what he sees in the NFL. He’s a guy who will play up to and through the end of a play, letting defenders know he will be out there all day.
