Logan Wilson from Wyoming certainly brings to the table what the Cincinnati Bengals are looking for in pass coverage, along with additional key characteristics.

Wilson played both safety and corner in high school, with the techniques he learned at those positions carrying over into his career at linebacker nicely. The 6’2″, 250-pound backer recorded 10 interceptions over the course of his college campaign, with 4 of them coming in his senior season. Combine that with the fact that he has recorded 249 solo tackles, 14 passes defended, and 5 forced fumbles, and it’s confusing as to why he has flone under the radar thus far.

Beyond his on-the-field production, Wilson is a three-time captain, bringing a lot of leadership to the table. He had this to say about earning the honor,

"“Of all the accomplishments that I had at Wyoming, that was my favorite one by far. I definitely put that one on a pedestal. I think my teammates viewed me as a leader because I really tried to do the little things the right way consistently.”"

The mentality he brings is evident in this quote. It’s exactly the type of player Zac Taylor should attempt to build his culture around. The Bengals front office shouldn’t let the fact that he played at a smaller school scare them away from making sure Wilson is in stripes next season.
