Cincinnati Bengals Post Super Bowl 7 Round Mock Draft
Barring an unforeseen event or another franchise offering a historical trade package for the first pick, the Cincinnati Bengals are more than likely going to stay put and bring Joe Burrow home to Ohio.
Burrow checked off every box he could during his senior campaign in Baton Rouge. He won the Heisman, Manning Award, and The Davey O’Brien. He completed 76.3% of his pass attempts on his way to setting the record for most touchdowns thrown in a college football season. To top it all off, he led his team to a national championship victory in a surgical performance that saw him throw for five touchdowns.
The Burrow situation becomes even more exciting when looking at the parallels between the Cincinnati Bengals and LSU Tigers. LSU, much like the Bengals, has always had talent. Neither team could simply put it all together and win when it counted most. Once Burrow stepped in, he was able to rally his team around him and take them to a new level. The hope is that the Athens native can do the same for the Bengals.
