Cincinnati Bengals Post Super Bowl 7 Round Mock Draft
The Bengals don’t have a glaring need in the secondary but with the frequency defenses are in nickel and the talent available, Jordan Fuller makes the most sense at this pick.
There are several things that stick out about Fuller, both on and off the field. He’s earned nearly every academic honor possible while balancing the responsibilities of being a two-time team captain. Those are the kind of attributes Zac Taylor would undoubtedly love to add to his locker room.
As for his play between the lines, he’s been asked to do a variety of things in the back-end. He has the capability to blitz, play zone, or match-up man-to-man. In doing so, he accumulated 42 solo tackles, 2 interceptions, and 4 passes defended during his senior season.
Fuller’s demeanor would allow him to start out his career as a tremendous special team player at the very least. In addition to that, his physical attributes and athleticism give him the ability to develop into a solid starter in the future.
