Another member of the 2019 draft class, Rodney Anderson started off his career generating a lot of buzz but has fallen into the background due to his season-ending injury before he really got things going.

In the clip above, it’s easy to see that he has big-play potential written all over him. In fact, the former Sooners running back was regularly making highlight-reel plays in the pre-season before going on IR.

It’s wasn’t surprising to see Anderson perform so well. If it weren’t for his injury concerns, analysts were suggesting he could’ve been the first running back taken in 2019 and gone on to be a feature back.

If the 23-year-old can remain healthy, it could spell disaster for opposing defenses. Joe Mixon figures to be the workhorse and heavily featured in the offense. However, Anderson could come in when Mixon needs rest to change up the pace. It could be a devastating one-two punch.

With his home-run ability in the screen game and physical running style between the tackles, don’t be surprised if Anderson breaks out in a big way next season to get the Bengal’s offense humming once more.
