The Cincinnati Bengals are likely to deal Andy Dalton this off-season. Here, we detail trade scenarios with one of his most likely landing spots, the Chicago Bears.

As most fans are already well aware, the chances of the Cincinnati Bengals trading Andy Dalton this off-season are high. With the number one overall pick and all signs pointing to Joe Burrow leading the franchise in the future, both parties would likely welcome a fresh start.

There may be no better landing spot for the veteran signal-caller than in the windy city with the Chicago Bears. After hiring former Bengals offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, who saw a lot of success with Dalton, the two sides may be eager to reunite.

The Bears have a tricky cap situation, which makes things more difficult. However, they did clear $13.5 million in cap space by cutting two players, giving them more room to absorb Dalton’s $17.7 million cap hit. Of course, Bears ownership and Dalton could always renegotiate his contract once a deal is agreed upon as well, something that has been done in similar situations in the past.
