With the 2020 NFL scouting combine officially wrapped up, the Cincinnati Bengals draft plans are beginning to come into focus.

The Cincinnati Bengals are inching closer and closer to officially being on the clock. As April 23 nears, the buzz around the Queen City grows. With that said, let’s dive right into the mock draft.

At this point, it’s becoming a lock that Joe Burrow is going to be the Bengal’s next franchise quarterback. After squashing rumors that he would refuse to play for the franchise in his combine press conference, he went on to conduct an interview that the team website says blew Bengals brass away.

With this selection, the Bengals will be getting a leader who has experience turning around the fortunes of a talented, yet underachieving cast. Speaking to his leadership qualities was the way players gravitated towards Burrow all week at the combine. Former teammates spoke very highly of his demeanor, poise, and confidence, indicating he will be able to win over an NFL locker room easily.

What he was able to accomplish after transferring to LSU should have Bengals fans hopeful he can do the same for Cincinnati.
