Many analysts say he’s the best quarterback prospect since Andrew Luck, and if that turns out to be true, it’ll be a huge leap forward in their quest to get a win in January.
Their 33rd pick will undoubtedly offer the chance to find another cornerstone player as well. Whether it be an offensive lineman, linebacker, wide receiver, or defensive playmaker, whoever hears their name called will have the opportunity to play a large roll in bringing a playoff win to Cincinnati.
So far, Duke Tobin and Zac Taylor have shown they’re on the same page this offseason to get the franchise back on track. If that continues, the incoming core of players drafted could be the group to eventually bring the playoff rains to Southern Ohio.
